It's that I consider pop everything is not Progressive, Newage, Jazz or Classic. Sex Pistols are pop for me.

  I tend to see pop as stuff made for the mass market which can include stuff here such as Pink Floyd.  I could never see something like Crass - Christ the Album as Pop.  Whereas you would.  The thread said no punk so I like to stick to the rules as set by who made the effort to make a thread.  otherwise ...
