Gawd, you guys stink. If PT's older stuff is the best why is the newest stuff rated highest? |
Because it's not prog and more metal and people prefer non-prog and more metal to over-the-top pretentious psychedelic nonsense.
|
I'm pretty sure there's enough prog in their newest stuff.
If it wan't proggy at all I most likely wouldn't like it much. |
I don't like it for many reasons. It being not proggy at all, isn't really one of them.

Almost all of Lightbulb Sun isn't prog (except Hatesong and Russia On Ice). About half of In Absentia isn't prog. Deadwing I admire because they fused prog with their current style more. FoaBP is prog-ish, but not quite.

I said it isn't solely about the emotion, not that it wasn't anything to do with emotion.
All VdGG albums are about emotion anyhow.

You can't decide which girl to pick. Again, doesn't make it better. Duh. Ah, I'll stay for a little bit longer.

No need to stay, CZ, I'm done. I need a cup of tea.
It doesn't matter how old someone is, it still is difficult to decide which girl to pick.

Now this just makes me angry.
Deadwing is one of my favorite albums of all time. The title track in particular is one of my favorite tracks of all time.
