I've had it for ~2 years although it hasn't been bad for a while. Just started up out of nowhere, I wasn't even listening to anything.

Nah, I understand... I like it, but then again I like just about everything tMV. I bought mine used at a thrift shop, so someone else obviously didn't like it either.
