I never raced up there, but it's awesome to watch the sunset from up there. Getting down in the dark is also quite entertaining.

It was quite beautiful indeed. My area is really flat, and green, so it felt quite different. I never get to watch sunsets either. I had dinner later at that Mexican place that has all the junk turned into art (?) pieces on the terrace. Pretty damn cool

The Hollywood one is bigger, yeah, but I personally preferred the way things were organised in SF. When we asked where the prog section was in LA, we were told "it's mixed in with the rock". Arghhh!

It occupies a whole block, I can only imagine how big the rock section alone would be

Well, it is one of those stores where you walk in with an idea to buy one or two albums and you end up buying five or more.

Gotta have faith. Also, they need to not hurry, especially during of style change and changing line-up. And after all, two years after the last album is the perfect time to release a new one.
Actually, I'd be much more happy with a proper live album, a concert film if possible.

Yeah, there's been plans for a live DVD (2-disc [one live, one documentary]) ever since Bedlam... It was supposedly basically done, but for some reason(s), it still hasn't been released. EDIT: Damn, harmonium is offline.

Misplaced Childhood is the bomb, and personally I can't wait for the Volta's new album either. I was impressed with Octahedron because I kind of gave up on them after Bedlam.
