I remember also one girl saying "I think I got it. I wonder if he was autistic. I know someone who is a lil bit, and while it could be mistaken for lack of empathy......." yadda yadda. I had to stop myself from saying, are you dumb!? He just does not care lulz

And Arthur Koestler? Sadly not

You must read Darkness at Noon, dude, it's the novel that inspired George Orwell to write 1984.

The ending of Darkness, the last 3-4 pages or so changed my outlook on literature. It's so depressing, so sad, yet so very fulfilling.

Damn, I did love 1984....
I keep wanting to get back into reading, for myself. I shall put it at the of the list for sure.
And that sounds pretty heavy, I can't wait. I've been honestly, generically happy and content with life. I could use a soul crusher. At least to mix it up.

Sad that Im not really joking?

It's not in the same literary league as 1984, but it's almost like a postscript to history, it's quite dense reading, but it is thought-provoking.

I love depressing, or sober writing. The honesty makes me happy.

I can see that.
Really, I used to be a morbid b*****d. Angsty depressed teen.
I used to love living in the dark place.
Not like that anymore at all, not that Im all chipper but yeah. I do think it is good though to still delve into that world.

Though I hope this is more intellectual than crushing. Been a while since I've gone into the dark place inside me, its messed up in there man! LOL
Wow, my fatigue is making me quasi emo and depressing. Off to read good ol history.......

I'm often quite the nihilistic-sounding individual (even though I'm not), some people I know well even recoil when I get wound up on some issues.

LOL

Meh, happens.
You know it is, never really had an outlook change or deep thought about it, (well I have actually) but honestly...apathy. As life went on I just became more apathetic.

Not a band thing, I started just enjoying things, instead of always always thinking and hating all.

This was good, kept me up and trace of sun are appearing. Once its fully I will be as well and can start writing the paper, just been reading thus far.

LOL
Speaking of books....you ever read the story "The Most Dangerous Game"?
Number 2, based off Ben, except instead of hunting humans with a knife and small pistol he used only his bare hands.

I haven't read it, but it sounds all too true. Yes, I'm a ruthless individual.

Basically: Guy is like the uber hunter, he's done it all. So he has this island and did something (I forget) to strand boats, and hunt people.
The most dangerous game! HEY OH! So this one guy gets stranded, evades for 3 days (the deal) but cheated, so its implied they have a physical fight. He wins, and...... Idont know. Takes over his island?

They never explainLOL

Oh: And also written back in the 20's. Uber hunter was Russian battles with this American guy, American wins.....hmm, no symbolism surely.

LOL that very bottom left one must be black metal-esque since I can't make it out all!
That is a great lineup though. I'd die happy after it.

OK, before I go for real...one last fun.

The reason I got into Opeth, (one of my all time fav bands now) was due to its logo.
I was waiting to take a test....and a girl wearing an Opeth shirt walked in.

The logo looked awesome as hell, and assuming it was a band I looked into.
Eventually, (probably due to this site) I would've found them, but that story is cooler IMO

Dude, I saw a girl in an Opeth shirt once while I was at uni, I swear, if she wasn't smoking, I'd have gone right up to her and devil-horned that sh*t.

Depending which would've impacted my reaction

I drop the ball there.

Few months ago I saw a really cute girl wearing a Death hoodie. I made sure to approve of it.
Then I failed again by not making sexy time Cry

And Im off
