Does last.fm only scrobble from using iTunes?  It doesn't seem like my iPod plays get transferred, even though iTunes updates them when I plug it in.

You have to enable iPod scrobbling in the program preferences. You should also turn on confirmation of iPod scrobbles: mine wouldn't work until I did that, and you should also do it because it sucks and will sometimes try to scrobble again things you played in iTunes when you plug the iPod in, I guess because it sees the higher play count on the iPod and forgets that it already did that. At least it does for me, maybe my computer is just fail.
