We should all work together to make an incredibly threatening letter than send it to James Cameron.

Nice.

Actually, 2001 took 25 minutes for the first line.
And it's also the greatest movie of all time.
I never made it to the dialogue. I like classical music, but I can't sit there listening to it while absolutely nothing f**king happens. I've already heard Blue Danube and Zarusthara a billion times. Also, I've read the book and the storyline is retarded.
The storyline is retarded?  How so?  Also, the scene you are referring to where "nothing happens" is actually meant to show spaceships dancing and the progression of humanity's technology, dur...
It still doesn't need to be so god damn long. The storyline is stupid because seriously, a star child? Humanity's ancestors needed a monolith to figure out how to use tools to avoid starvation when monkeys already use tools? Jupiter turns into a star and somehow Earth doesn't suffer catastrophic global warming?
if you own a sodastream i hate you

That was it!
Yeah, I liked it. But opera, (especially when sitting around an apt a little drunk) not so easy.

On that note, anyone see Repo Men? I wanted to, but was afraid it'd be a huge bust

The monolith is symbolic, and I agree, that last part is just stupid.

Maybe some slow eye piercing or ear drilling, not at once though, that would be too easy.

That's from 2010, not 2001.  But that was pretty weird and should've caused mass catastrophe, so I agree with you there.

Got
this
reduced from 620 (inc shipping) to 409$ (inc shipping) for a new model, and from 420 with shipping to 229$ with shipping for an ex demo, because I've reviewed a sh*tload of guitar gear for the site over the past few months.

It's a movie, not a Discovery Channel production.
