Same here!
Quitting your job feels goooooooooooood. Seriously I'm not planning to end up in a mental institution (I've already have the SR) or die young.
Now then, what to celebrate with?

I think I have some Italian Merlot left since Christmas, it might have ended up in stews though.
I was thinking of asking for some Isis or Messugah recommendations.Tongue

Oh, right. I'm more of a Whisky person myself.

Isis - Wavering Radiant is a must, their most diverse album. Meshuggah is a acquired taste however...

But I thought you didn't like "grr grr" vocals.

Lizzy, if you don't like growls, maybe Isis isn't your thing... and probably Meshuggah too.

But it's just for this particular moment. I feel like growling.Tongue

Aktuala's second album sounds a lot like Third Ear Band.

One band in which the growling hasn't ever bothered me is Agalloch.

Ok, here's my suggestions.

Isis - Wavering Radiant
Alcest - Ecailles de Lune
Agalloch - The Mantle (this is a folky metal masterpeice)

Those three should keep you entertained, and all have a mix of growls/clean vocals.
