Two understatements in one post.

Not just that but the guitarist of Cardiacs is Kavus Torabi of Guapo. Big smile

Same here. Tosin Abasi is absolutely amazing and quite original.

I love that Meshuggah video. I'm also going out on a limb here and saying they're now as influential as Metallica.

I'd agree with that to an extent; they're certainly incredibly important in the underground metal scene spanning almost twenty years.

And HWT, (I apologize, I've been telling this to everyone I know,) did you know I get to meet Tosin Abasi next Saturday before the AAL concert in my town?  He's giving me a guitar lesson.  Shocked

That's awesome! Clap I got to meet him when I saw him open for Between the Buried and Me last November. I shook his hand, we talked a little, and he was in the audience watching the other opening acts and BtBaM.

I don't care, it's 17:09 here and I shall be laying down for a rest soon.  I didn't get much sleep last night. Embarrassed

I slept plenty last night. I work 8 hours yesterday, slept about 10, and work another 7 1/2 today. But then I work 8 tomorrow and don't work again for about two weeks. Big smile

My mom was watching Remember Me and Shutter Island last night, actually.

That was James hiding from your sight until you left.

I'd recommend not sitting on that couch until it gets cleaned.

Unless her name is Sian and she's 23, then I doubt it was your mother.

And for your information we just chatted all night.  No bed sharing.  It was fun.  She's lovely.
