Ok, I'll play acoustic if we need it. My bass skills are pretty dodgy so I'll leave that up to others, and I haven't got any recording stuff other than a single track pocket tape recorder, lol.
Also, we need Henry (Noise), Vompatti (Whatever the f**k he does), and Jon (Bass).

6 is absolutely amazing, a friend of mine has it. The sound engine sounds literally realistic.

I vote avant-metal with harsh vocals and jazz sensibilities.

Seconded

@Henry,
You've finally solved the mystery of why there's a picture of a bunch of bloody teeth in the album artwork of Choirs. Thank you. |
I thought they did Choirs before Toby met her? Maybe not.

I'm not so great anymore at bass, nor is my recording equipment good (bass -> amp -> computer) but it should be interesting, to say the least.

She did some vocals on motW's first release and also some vocals and violin on Bath and LYBM, if I'm not mistaken.

It is going to be a clusterf*ck for sure, and probably of poor quality but I say we gotta do it.

Brilliantly, though. How many artists do YOU know who are awesome enough to record their stuff with a video camera?

There's no backing out now.
If we suck too badly we can just become a Nickelback covers band.

Indeed. If I had more instrument cables I'd be able to go bass -> Russian Big Muff Pi fuzz pedal -> amp -> computer, but I only have two cables now (one of which is nearly dead) so that's a no go. Actually, I'm not sure the one is even long enough to make it from amp to computer or bass, so I may have to cut the amp out of the loop and go direct into the computer. Even better!

It'll end up being so poor quality it'd be mistaken for noise.

Don't even joke about that. If we're a cover band, we're a Kayo Dot cover band.
