Not sure if this has been done before but I thought it might be fun and possibly informative.
The concept is simple - same as the Kevin Bacon game. Link two bands together through their mutual associations using six or fewer links to make the connection.
Some rules (gotta' have rules or anarchy will ensue):
1. All bands linked must be listed on ProgArchives.com 2. Cannot repeat a musician. 3. Musician had to have appeared on an album or been a member of the band they are linked to. 4. Compilation albums don’t count unless they are issued under a specific band name (eg., the Yes ‘Friends & Family’ series). 5. You can’t use King Crimson (too easy). 6. You have to give the next person two bands to link. 7. Anyone can add to these rules if it makes sense to do so.
I'll start - Yes and Andromeda. Yes Patrick Moraz was in Yes and also in Refugee. Keith Jackson was in Refugee and also in The Nice. Keith Emerson was in The Nice and also in ELP. Carl Palmer was in ELP and also in Atomic Rooster. John Cann was in Atomic Rooster and also in Andromeda.
Next pair - Colosseum and Magma. Edited by ClemofNazareth - May 20 2010 at 07:20 |
