Nowhere are you required to vote for any particular candidate by law.

In some states you are restricted in voting in certain primary elections (e.g. registered Republicans can only vote in the Republican primary, etc.).  In general elections anyone can vote for any candidate, regardless of political affiliation, etc.

I've only lived in Florida for a few years.

Florida does not have open primaries, so you vote based on the party to which you are registered.

For elections though, one may vote for whomever one wants regardless of party-affiliation.

Don't misrepresent our views, T. No one is advocating privately owned courts (maybe Equality is, but I don't think so.) As I've said many times, the government's proper function is to enforce laws taht protect the rights of its citizens and defend the borders from invading hordes. I don't want private police, private courts or a private army. It's just everything else I want privatized. Tongue

Yes T, I'm not sure how it is in other countries but even if you are registered Democrat you can vote for anyone you'd like! You can even write in a candidate, I recommend a massive write campaign for me...but whatever floats your boat.

And libertarian, socialist in the end us working people will just muddle through it.

Dad is still unemployed, but looking, networking, would be nice if he could find something before January. Besides the obvious reason, that is when his severance pay will end, and its time for unemployment Disapprove well, he's gunna start collecting soon actually, but still.

I just got back from an interview myself. I think it went pretty well and looks like they have legit interest.

I love fillibusters. They prevent congress from passing more unnecessary laws. Anyway, Manofmystery will have already put a Libertarian infrastructure in place, all I'll have to is maintain the status quo.

We have a right to life here.  Minimal health care helps to ensure that right.  So the government can help us live right?  The same way as the army protects us from certain death?  Wink

My wife just took our son to the doctor, and the doctor wanted to know why we weren't on Medicaid.

My wife said my husband doesn't like to take money from the government.
