I had to vote the Wall. I don't care if it is prog or not. The sheer number of times I've been able to listen to this and be fully captivated is shocking to me.

i I like all from the list minus Tangernine Dream, never was my kind of music. My vote is UK - Danger Money, a very underrated album IMO.

Bruford's album is excellent. Then - The Wall, Danger Money and FZ. Good year for great music!

The Wall is a monumental achievement and one of the greatest albums of all time. Sheik Yerbouti and Force Majeure are other standouts.

This is a really tough one, '79 was clearly a great year for prog.  I can think of a few other classics from '79 too Wink.
 
Danger Money is an awesome album, Force Majeure is TD's 2nd best and the Eloy album is on reflection my favourite album by the band.  I also really like Spectral Mornings.  I find it really tough not to vote for The Wall though.  It's such an iconic album, fine songs and very atmospheric..  I don't love all of the album but on the whole it's superb.

I can't listen The Wall anymore, I sleep in the middle of the side twoSleepy, at least the movie is good. My vote goes to Heresie

Heresie, by a small margin. Mostly good albums, but I have to admit that I hate most of The Wall.

Difficult. Bruford, Hackett and UK made some excellent albums. Okay, I choose Bruford.
 
The Wall is a good album, but not as good as the three other that I mentioned.

Went with Bruford. The Wall has its moments but I think that it is far from being the best from PF.
