evidently the shells of cocoa beans absorb the lead away from the beans themselves, but the lower-qualty chocolate makers don't do a good job of separating bean from shell which is why mainstream chocolate has been found to have elevated lead levels .. so buy quality, me thinks |

I don't mind milk chocolate when it's either Tobler or Cote D'Or (Sw &Bel respectively).....
Don't appreciate those white chocolates much either......
But I'm much more a fan of these hi-percentage Cocoa content dark chocolate

Dark chocolate is more seductive. The one with orange bits is delish. But then Lindor are milk.... tough!

I like it dark but a bit sweeter, the one I normally buy is 47% cocoa. If it's got a sweet filling (like caramel or peppermint) I prefer 60-70% cocoa. That said, I've had some very smooth 85% chocolate that you wouldn't know was so rich.

Why do you hate chocolate so much??? Sometimes you gotta go milk, sometimes you haveta go dark. By the way, it is my understanding from my wife that white chocolate isn't really chocolate. |

As for me, I like both equally. I'll also eat any kind of candy bar with chocolate in it.
