Topic: Dexter or True Blood Posted: July 12 2010 at 23:32 |
In my oppinion, HBO's best show right now is True Blood... and Showtime's best show is easily Dexter.
Don't know which I like more though... Maybe Dexter...

Dexter, some of his attitudes reflect mine. No, not the serial killer part. I'm not that crazy.

I vote for Dexter, since I'm getting a bit sick of the latest vampire fad.

True Blood was conceptualized before most of that stuff happened, so that's really an unfair reason to dis it.

I like them both, but it's Dexter by a razor's edge.

Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

Fair call, but once you've hung around with Otherkin for a while, you're put off vampires for life, y'know

Honestly don't care for either. Cast well, both have talented actors, but I find both concepts fairly annoying. Really can't stand that we have a show where a serial killer is the main character and I am sooooo sick of vampires!! The vampire genre is getting ruined!

Dexter, easily. Seasons 1 & 2 were amazing. Despite some of the hate, I like Season 3 since we got to explore different parts of Dexter's personality (although the Skinner was by far the worst main killer of the series). I think Season 4 more than made up for anything lost in S3 though. Lithgow is a great actor.

Dexter. I haven't seen an entire episode of True Blood yet, but I am sort of boycotting anything to do with vampires until this whole Twilight rubbish fizzles out. Even so, Dexter is a fantastic series, really clever and watchable.

Dexter is a rich psychological experience. One of the best shows to surface in the recent decade. Phenomenal show.

I watched most of the first episode of True Blood.
Couple thoughts.
1. Vamping out (ie. having the fangs come out) is completely pathetic and made me laugh 2. Tits. Oh, hi cable. I forgot that to be a serious show you had to have tits bouncing around.
Hmm.
It has an intense amount of improvement to get started on in order to measure up to Buffy/Angel. You heard me.
