Just bought "CLose to the Edge" and "RElayer" by Yes as well as "OCtopus" by Gentle Giant. HangedMan who came along with me bought "Strangeitude" by the Ozrics and a God Speed You black Emperor album.

Neal Morse - One  I think this is much better than "Testament". This has a harder edge, there is more instrumental work and the longer tracks are definately more proggy.

Derek Sherinian - Mythology. Too bad he couldn't have substituted a more proggy guitarist than Zakk Wylde. All that chugging power chord drenched w**kery wears out my ears. The Holdsworth/Goodman/Phillips tune "One Way or the Other"

Thanks for the welcome danbo and I can assure you that you will not be disappointed in the new Manning disc. It's his best yet. The artwork by Ed Unitsky is stunning!

Actually, Prog Rock Records, Mannings new label, is hitting the local record shops Tuesday the 16th. I don't like ordering on-line.

Ed Unitsky is an awesome artist. The Tangent covers are wonderful.
