Me too. Except I never purchased any of their stuff.

I listened to an album or two back when school gave me free access to whatever music download program they paid for...I really didn't enjoy what I heard very much at all, but to each his/her own.

Bashing aside, what do you think of it, Matt? Is it really as cheesy as it is made out to be, or do you enjoy it? |
Actually the album I just listened to was pretty solid musically. My only real problem is that I'm not much of a fan of that type of music.

I actually didn't purchase them either, but they were presents for my birthday, and I would kind of feel bad about selling them.

I guess I could agree. If you like that sort of thing, then you will probably dig Marillion. I don't.

That's pretty much exactly what I thought of it too when I listened to it.

Did you ever consider that the reason it's not your type of music is because it sucks?

What I find ironic though is how some people can bash Phil Collins' Genesis but love Marillion. To me, there is not much of a difference, except Marillion makes concept albums.

Another reason why I don't like Phil Collins' Genesis.

I can understand why some people, in understanding some people, fail to understand some people, while some other people are understanding some people while not understanding some people. Some other people understand some people AND some people, but some people don't understand anyone.

I can't understand why some people write structurally convoluted posts I won't bother to read through.

I respectfully disagree. You see, I can understand why some people, in not understanding anyone, discovered that life is only a dream and we're an imagination of ourselves, but other people can't understand those people understanding that. But then those people are the hardest to understand themselves and everyone ends up MISunderstanding them thinking that they understand everything when they don't even understand themselves. Now these people aren't really insane, they just don't understand, like most of us. However, I do believe some people and some people do understand that some people can't understand some people and misunderstandings are just a part of life that some people can't understand. You see, I can't understand why some people, in understanding some people, understand anyone.

Let me tell you. See, the thing that you don't understand is that some people think that writing structurally convoluted posts will help the people who can't understand why some people write structurally convoluted posts to understand the people who write structurally convoluted posts, and so they write structurally convoluted posts to achieve just that. Through some research, I've discovered that it doesn't always work to get the people who don't understand that some people write structurally convoluted posts they won't bother to read through to understand the people who write structurally convoluted posts, so I gave up writing structurally convoluted posts in favor of structurally non-convoluted yet still confusing and boring posts the original poster won't understand.
