England won ONE world cup centuries ago with help from referees. They have never won a Euro. England is up there with the big ones only because of their 1966 win. They are, statistically, not even close to Germany, Italy or even France. |
I completely agree, that one goal is no excuse for their terrible play this tournament..remember they lost that game FOUR to one...they played like crap all tournament.

What i ment was without that stupid goal English team could easily reach semi final and still playing bad football

Really don't mind if you sit this one out.

Can we stop talking about what a waste of space the England team is please.
I can't make up my mind who I want t win tonight. I prefer Spain. But, I would like to see a Germany Netherlands final!
I suppose I can't lose in that case. I think Germany will win (4 goals again?).
Come on. Should be good! |
Quoting myself. The commentator just said that according to one poll 83% of Germans think it's their time to win again. So:
COME ON SPAIN!
Made up my mind

The Germans look a bit under pressure, but still they look pretty cool.

^OK they are beginning to look really pressured. When is the last time the ball was on the Spanish half of the field?

Even so. No matter how long the Spanish have the ball they don't really look like scoring. The Germans have had more chances and about 10% of the posession - so they will win.

Awful, awful, awful game. I almost got up and left (and should have; I have work to get done). Looked like a Pee-Wee soccer game.
Grats to Spain, though.

YES!!! Finally, there was a team who wanted to play football against Spain, not to defend desperately and hope to strike on a counterattack. And they left Spain to play. Very bad decision for Germany... But now everybody could see why we love the Spanish team so much. They are the Brazilians of out times. I am now hoping for a great and memorable finale to this World Cup

I expected more from Germany. Well, it's hard to predict a game, that's for sure.
I hope The Netherlands will win on Sunday. I hope that at last it will happen.

Yeah, hope so, but indeed Spain played very well today.
I'll be cheering for The Netherlands here! With the t-shirt and all!

A deserved victory without a doubt, Spain played their best match of the World Cup in the right moment.

Funny, the complete core of the Spain team is The Barcelona team...
Whoever win this cup, it won't be a big team... I'm disappointed, this WC really s*cks...
