I never found Arrested Development to be the brillant show so many people made it out to be. Had more throat clearing coughs while watching it than laughs.
My Name Is Earl, on the other hand, I found quite enjoyable and I am still disappointed that they cancelled it on a "to be continued".

Arrested Development is one of the smartest comedies ever produced. Enough said.

Easiest poll I've voted on in a long time, arrested development by far

Earl is hilarious. Gotta like Joy, she's insane.

Arrested Development, of course. Simply put, the best U.S. TV comedy ever. I will admit that I do enjoy My Name is Earl a lot, even though I don't watch it adamantly. If I see it on, I will most definitely watch it.
EDIT: Oops, I accidentally voted for Earl. Oh well, its still a great show.

The original premise with My name is Earl was good. Karma and balancing what you do, but it got tired after awhile.
Arrested for the cast and the absurdity.

Are you kidding me? You take a mediocre show like My Name is Earl and put it against the sheer comical brilliance that is Arrested Development? For shame.

Arrested Development.
Though I didn't particularly care for either, AD made me laugh more.

I loathe blue collar humor. Guess which show I picked.

Agreed 100% I really did love the idea. Though it did get old quicker than a lot of shows.

My Name Is Earl is alright, but Arrested Development might be the best tv show of all time.

Arrested Development. But even if that show wasn't naturally 1000x funnier, it has no known Scientologists in its main cast. Please correct me if I'm wrong so I can know which actors not to ever enjoy again.

Arrested Development for me. Although, the one episode of the other show that I managed to watch had me rolling.
