How did you like it?

It was nice, I got some stuff I needed to get legal copies of Embarrassed. But I was expecting something like La Musique Du Faubourg in Quebec City, and I was a bit dissapointed. Although I was amused by the surprised "You like this kind of music?!?" my purchases got me. Was not even anything weird, just some Egg and QVL.

I never went to Musique du Faubourg, but there was a stand of this shop at the last FMPM (which doesn't exist anynore, sadly).
Did you have the chance to speak with the guys that we don't understand a word of what he's saying?

I only saw 2 guys there though (although I've only been twice). Both skinny, pony-tailed middle aged guys. One greying that led me to the wrong Spirogyra and the other guy I think is the owner and he seemed to know EVERYTHING. I think I could stay at his store all day just to listen him discuss music with his customers to see if there's anything he doesn't know.

Those two you're talking about, they're father and son. I've been to that shop many times, and spoken with pretty much every member of the staff.
It appears that nobody knew Guapo, Shub Niggurath and Present.
But it's fun that they have some Univers Zero and Magma.

If I met someone who knew UZ or Magma I would have to pinch myself to see if I was awake.

Well, there's always my mom's co-worker I can talk to about experimental music.  I had to give him back his Koenjihyakkei CD and DVD, but I still get to keep the other stuff.  I should ask him about Univers Zero and RIO, though.

Why?  He lives in a pretty small town, and he admits that he's not very social.

Same here.  I'm pretty sure that there is no one in the Shred that is social.
