Topic: A Mel Brooks Poll Posted: July 06 2010 at 14:31 |
Definitely between Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, History of The World Part I and Spaceballs for me... Don't know if I even like one better than the other... Robin Hood: Men In Tights is up there too.

Damn, is this tough
Blazing Saddles has a slight edge over Spaceballs for me, I guess, but it's all good

Sir don't you think we're being a bit too literal?
No! He told us to comb the desert so we're combing it!

Young Frankenstein, with Blazing Saddles a close second (although Blazing Saddles is one of the most quotable movies evar).

nothing ever came close to The Producers, though I'm a big YF fan .. after High Anxiety his films really went downhill (could it be because Wilder wrote much of the better Brooks screenplays anyway ?)

Young Frakenstein, even though The Producers and Blazing Saddles are some of the greatest comedies ever too. Spaceballs was one of his weaker films.

If I could change it I would, I've never had the chance to see any of them, so I have not.

The only one I haven't seen is Silent Movie, because it was so widely unavailable for a while.

Hmmm so hard! The producers, history of the world, spaceballs, blazing saddles...bah! They are all so good. Have to go with spaceballs because it was the first I saw.

Between Spaceballs and Men in Tights.
I'll give one to Men in Tights because I know it'll get less.

If you have enough time on your hands to post on a forum that you haven't seen any Mel Brooks movies than you have enough time to see a Mel Brooks movie. My vote goes to Young Frankenstein.

Apart from Get Smart (The best sitcom ever) created by Mel Brooks,
I have to vote for Young Frankenstein.
