Well, I took a bullet and scrolled down the list of dates in the ad.  It looks like we're stuck with it till September 27th.  Pinch

Have you tried starting another thread on it?  That should finally stop it. 

Then again, there still is the option of using a browser with an ad blocking feature.

The (expandable) KISS ad was removed from the forum pages.

Since it was not a POP-UP or extra intrusive ad, I kept it for some pages of the site.

I hope you guys will understand the way I must deal with this. Thanks.

It was for a concert tour if I remember correctly (at least it wasn't for the KISS tongue-lubricated condoms).  After this KISS escapade (ended up being bad marketing here), I think it may be harder for The Elder to find an eventual place in PA as more people will bear ill-will to the KISS machine.

"KISS's Music from the 'Elder' for PA's new album-based category!  My special edition copy is tongue-lubricated by Gene Simmons himself!"
"KISS, you mean the band that ruined my enjoyment of PA's fora with its 'loud' and obnoxious ad?  No thanks!"
"But have you seen Gene Simmons Family Jewels, now that's a Prog show if there ever was one"
"Are his family jewels also tongue lubricated?"
"I never KISS and tell."
