It looks more fun, the first half of the year was basically two years of algebra really fast + extra stuff like learning some basic programming on the graphing calculators (that I already knew), and then the next half was basically trig, which was easy. I also remember my teacher telling me that I was one of the few kids who actually understood it and wasn't just mindlessly memorizing formulas. LOL

Banjo's are annoying though if the person cannot play it properly.  They even sound annoying if they can a lot of the time.

Make sure he uses it sparingly.

I play it as well, I managed to play some funk bass lines on it. LOL

Just because it has 4 strings, it doesn't mean it can be played like a bass.

What I took was a different course; it was actually a first year university course, and it was 100% in preparation for the AP exams we wrote in May.  Using our calculators in that manner was permitted; I was the only person smart enough to put my notes in there, although I doled it out among classmates and saved a lot of their asses too

We still expressed sine values by Pi

That opening track really grabs you.

I'm going to Jean Louis also after this song.

It's not a tenor banjo, it has 5 strings.  Plus, any stringed instrument can be played like a bass, just as any object can be played like a drum.

By the way, what's the new Tortoise like?

And don't say it has a shell and 4 little legs and a little head and a little tail.

What tuning are you using anyhow?

I'm not sure, it was the first time I ever played a banjo.  All I know is it's not the same interval between strings, which made it tricky at first.  As for my basses, I either play them in standard tuning (EADG) or pull a page from the Magma book and play in cello tuning (CGDA).
