I was actually surprised how many cool features are on MMA. The only thing is that it's worth very little right now because of not enough ratings.
The fact you can't review 'non metal' albums by metal artists is annoying though.

yeah iwant that to change for sure - its ridiculous that The Sweet have 1 metal album to review and the rest are non, same with a lot of glam metal ans some NWOBHM esp, artists from 70s - 80s.

Eventually you'll be able to review them, right?

I am not syure of that they are locked oiut as the admins dont want a bunch of metal related albbums reviewed on front page. no probvs here with related albums as the reviews rotate so fast but over there its as slow as a wet week

The way I see it; metal music fans aren't just gonna want the straight up metal; if they like the artist, they're going to want to hear the other stuff too...

i am with u 100% on that
It will develop over the next year and we will no doubt have all albums open to review but its a sore point with me and I am not going to dispute admins decisions but its gotta change to open thye floodgates for pple to enjoy as THE metal resource

I can see why they'd not let them be reviewed, for example, I could review a bunch of Miles Davis here, and most of it isn't prog. I still say Kind of Blue is essential to all prog fans though.

That's because all the Shred posts are being scattered between three Shred Rooms.

I wonder why the admins stopped closing them all the sudden. Perhaps they want to drown us, humble Just For Funners, in a confusing flood of shred rooms.
