After 8 years being told that I listened to sh*t music by my ex, compatibility of music tastes have become quite important for me. Angry

Oh of course it helps.

I just think I prefer to keep my music tastes private (I mean in regards to having a girlfriend/fiancée/wife).  That's what headphones are for after all.

My ex hated my music taste pretty much, so I know how it feels.  She hated Koenjihyakkei's Angherr Shisspa. LOL

My mate's mother loves Orff's Carmina Burana but I suspect she'd hate Magma. LOL

I would have too back when all I listened to was PF, Genesis and Yes. It's not an introductory album. LOL

All right, just told my mom on the phone that I'm going to California. There was no scream of terror... although I was reminded to call some family friends nearby in case MrFirmTush attempts to strangle me in his apartment.

Thanks mom.

If there is one song the Trans-Siberian Orchestra nailed, it's Carmina Burana.

Colifornia?

Californi(a)cation is what you'll be doing though.  Just keep the noise down though, or Luke or Ricardo (KoS) will be after you.

I love those guys! They're so cheesy and Christmasy. Haven't heard their rendition of Carmina Burana though...

Thanks, I edited that. And I'll keep that in mind, although I won't make any promises... Evil Smile

So who's the best? Dinah Washington or Nina Simone?

It's on their new album, Night Castle, but you have to wait through a lot of  non Christmasy cheesiness to hear it. They are better at writing stories than concept albums. LOL

I just read on YouTube that Trans-Siberian Orchestra played Carmina Burana in concert one time and many people left afterwards thinking they'd finished. LOL

I actually had my mind very deep in the gutter before coming here. Jeez... after a two-hour not too orthodox conversation on the phone with a friend, I needed a break.LOL Nah... we're both exhausted because of the exam sessions.
