I don't need a girl who likes Magma to be happy though. There's a lot other qualities in a woman besides their music taste.
Although it helps, of course.
After 8 years being told that I listened to sh*t music by my ex, compatibility of music tastes have become quite important for me.
Oh of course it helps.
I just think I prefer to keep my music tastes private (I mean in regards to having a girlfriend/fiancée/wife). That's what headphones are for after all.
My ex hated my music taste pretty much, so I know how it feels. She hated Koenjihyakkei's Angherr Shisspa.

I would have too back when all I listened to was PF, Genesis and Yes. It's not an introductory album.

All right, just told my mom on the phone that I'm going to California. There was no scream of terror... although I was reminded to call some family friends nearby in case MrFirmTush attempts to strangle me in his apartment.

If there is one song the Trans-Siberian Orchestra nailed, it's Carmina Burana.
I love those guys! They're so cheesy and Christmasy. Haven't heard their rendition of Carmina Burana though...
It's on their new album, Night Castle, but you have to wait through a lot of non Christmasy cheesiness to hear it. They are better at writing stories than concept albums.

I just read on YouTube that Trans-Siberian Orchestra played Carmina Burana in concert one time and many people left afterwards thinking they'd finished.

Thanks for specifying that, because I thought you really, really had your mind in the gutter.
I actually had my mind very deep in the gutter before coming here. Jeez... after a two-hour not too orthodox conversation on the phone with a friend, I needed a break. Nah... we're both exhausted because of the exam sessions.
