Nice find Rob.  I enjoyed listening to it.  I'm not quite sure what the concept is either.  Something to be discovered with further listens.

MDK, someone linked to this guy's profile in that Nursery Cryme thread where that other guy admitted to ratings manipulation.

So I went to the student activities office to see about starting an avant-garde music club, and you need 2 other people to be an official group and 10 to become a club! What fascists! How am I supposed to know anybody else, I'm starting the club to meet them! I guess I'll have to just hang up flyers and have an unofficial meeting, like underground Communists.

Also, the guy asked me what avant-garde music is. I said Evan Parker and Stockhausen, but I'm pretty sure he didn't know who those people are because he sort of smiled and nodded.
What a waste of time.

Matt, haven't you heard the resample, recycle, recircle succession on K.A I?

This is why K.A. isn't as good as it recycles old themes.

E-Re is where it's at. Big smile

Oh and there's lots of misheard lyrics.

My favourite are on E-Re.

Doris, will be showered.

Isn't E-Re mostly recycled music too? Although I guess it's not the same since the E-Re material was hidden on live albums and not as prominent as the KA themes.

And I don't care what James, Pat, or anyone else says. Pure Reason Revolution is awesome. I can't wait for their third album later this year. Big smile

I've only heard their EP and it was horrid.  As The Dark Turd was released straight afterwards, I'm guessing I'd hate that as well.

Yes.  They E-Re was played live (most of but not all of it) in the 1970s but has only just been officially finished and recorded.  So it's not recycling themes as K.A. does.

K.A. recycles themes from Kontarkosz and Wurdah Itah, I think.  I'll have to have yet another listen of it.

Yep! Exactly right, E-Re feels more recycled than KA to me.

Not right at all.

I listen to K.A. and think... I've heard this somewhere before...

I don't get that with E-Re.  Yes I have heard many different sections of it, like Hhai and Zombies but they're not repeating themes from other "suites" of music.

It's a breath of fresh air compared to the borrowed K.A. themes.
