Currently finishing up my BA in English lit. Probably going to teach English abroad if I fail to find out any internships in the next year and I applied to the Peace Corps. In the mean time, I'm just trying to get a few things published online since I have no real work experience( retail jobs don't count).

Finished the German equivalent of the Masters Degree in 1993 (in Computer Science).

master in law  - Administrative dremt finished in 2006 but I finished aswell journalism faculty in 2000, and lots of other courses in  astrology, geography and foreign languages (english, hungarian and dutch).

Started two degrees and finished neither. First was Visual Arts the second Art History/History. Formal education has never been my thing.

Masters degree in music theory and composition, after that I had a partial scholarship with student teaching offers to pursue a Phd, but was really burnt out on school at that point.
So to answer your question about the Phd, ...that is a lot of your life to spend in school. I wanted to be outdoors, hang out with people and play in bands, I moved to California instead.
I saw a real nice job offer the other day for a college music prof with a Phd, so maybe I screwed up.

You shouldn't have put still a student, whether or not you are working towards a Bachelor's doesn't change the fact that at this point you are still just a high school graduate.

I graduated high school and am currently in community college majoring in failure.

I have a BA (Hons) in English with Studies in European Culture.  I was accepted onto a Masters course at Warwick University, but unfortunately I couldn't get the funding.  In England you have to be quite wealthy to continue in post-graduate education, unless the course carries sufficient funding with it.
 
My degree made all the difference to me.  It enabled me to enrol on a teacher training course, and I have now been working as a teacher of English in the same secondary school since 1995 (a position that has, on balance, been fantastically rewarding)

Dropped out halfway through year 12 (not exactly sure what that's equivalent too in the North American system).
And honestly I don't have the motivation, nor see any reason why I should go back to get more education within the system.
 I'm currently happy studying sound engineering at home by myself and occasionally with the help of friends.

Yes it worth time and money, where I work now, the salary is bigger if you have master degree then for those who doesn't have superior studiesSmile
