You didn't acutally taste the 2000 batch!

Since I was 17 then, I probably did not.  LOL

I don't enjoy/haven't tasted any from that list. What I do like however, is James Squire's range of ales.

(Not the Pilsener or Lager)

I'm having one of these at the moment, they didn't have my favourite in pint size cans at the store so I got the next best Finnish beer. Strong and soft as it says on the can.

Didn't exactly please me.  Wink

I prefer a more balanced brew.

This thread is turning into a monologue, but I have to say that Trois Pistoles was slightly disappointing. It had a very meaty and leathery taste that I didn't really like. Gulden Draak is also slightly overrated, but good. Probably won't buy that again. Schneider Weisse was another new one and it was good, but there's much better ones like the lovely Bräu-Weisse.

Currently enjoying:

You probably didn't have a good batch of Trois Pistoles. Sometimes a good beer can taste bad when keep in a warm place for a too long period of times..

I was thinking the same. The same happened with Wee Heavy earlier and I've had it before, so I know it's good. Unibroue hasn't disappointed so far, so I'll have to try Trois Pistoles again someday.

BEER!!!

Generally divided into two types

Ale

Lager

You can't beat a Belgian ale  Clap

You don't list my favorite lager - Bohemia Shocked

Ergo, my vote goes to Chimay
