Well it's probably common knowledge, but I'm most likely not in my right mind. I prefer Leg End, then Unrest, then Western Culture. Haven't heard In Praise of Learning yet. |

Seconded.
As an album I think it's the best, but my favorite song is on In Praise. |

I'm really not the BIGGEST Henry Cow fan tbh(though I do enjoy them), but I like Western Culture best as well. However, to each his own! IPoL used to be my favorite.

Western Culture is easily better than all of them. I think the others are great too, mind you. Western Culture is proper avant-prog, the albums flows and there's no annoying tunes like War.
That's if you ignore the bonus track, of course. |

And apparently Lost and Ashes to Ashes had similar endings.

I think Legend flows wonderfully, and I've always liked it best since I heard it as it reminds me as much of the Canterbury Scene as it does of Avant. |

That's the guy who works in a porn store? (not that I have anything against that, just trying to situate him) There's a band called Clutch... |

No, porn store guy was Billy Bob, who hasn't been around in a while. |

Nah... Leg End is a mighty fine effort but it doesn't flow so well. I love The Nine Funerals of the Citizen King (or whatever it's called) but it really doesn't fit so well in terms of flow of the albums.

Correct. I wasn't referring to VdGG or Bowie in this regard. |
