Listen to Infected Mushroom.
Actually, I'd listen to them if I wasn't doing a Converge marathon in anticipation for that concert.

I've only heard two of those (
Hot Rats and
The Grand Wazoo ), and I love both.
Curse you Zappa! Why must you make so many good albums?

Get the debut, it's a little more shoegazish and not quite as epic as
Ecailles , but it's still not bad.
Then, if you are feeling peckish, try
Ameosoeurs or
Les Discrets .

Quite good. Got a Koenjihyakkei album (Angherr Shisspa) today in an unexpected way. One of my mother's co-workers let me borrow it after hearing I liked Magma. He calls them "Magma on caffeine". Kind of hard to believe that there's someone who knows what Zeuhl is in Tulsa.
