That's the best description I can think of.

First song, and I like it.  Reminds me of Magma, of course, but with the complexity of Gentle Giant.  Good stuff.

My my my, what an album this is! It's so richly orchestrated and has superb female vocals. This is definitely a contender for AOTY.

The album I'm referring to is The Gathering Light by Karnataka.

Angherr Shisspa.  I do like it.  I found a used Ruins album today, surprisingly enough. Shocked

Indeed.  I was especially surprised since it is, I believe, the original CD version of Stonehenge.  I found several great albums today at the used music store, and Jean Michel Jarre's Oxygene at Half Price Books on vinyl for $6.

My rarest vinyl would probably be Pawn Hearts, which I found at Vintage Stock.  However, I don't usually go looking for vinyls as much as normal CDs.

I'd suggest Üdü Wüdü. But Wurdah Ïtah first. It's their best in my opinion.

Don't listen to him, get KA first. Wink

Don't listen to him, K.A. is mediocre.

Get M.D.K.

I get vinyl if I find albums I want on vinyl for a price comparable to the CD.  I like getting them.  There were quite a few other prog vinyls there today (including a LOT of Jethro Tull, with This Was still in the plastic wrap).

Now if Magma had performed M.D.K. at the gig, I'd literally have died.

Oh, then get Retrospektiw I-II or the Theusz Hamtaahk Trilogie.  The latter has M.D.K., Theusz Hamtaahk and Wurdah Itah on, of course.

Win all round.  You don't get the mediocre K.A. then.
