You should. One of the very first "experimental" rock groups. Their first album is a masterpiece.

I think I have tried listening to one song but I didn't find it interesting, but that was a long time ago.

VU and Nico has got to be one of my favourite albums of all time.
Yet I was saying about it last night "Lou Reed can't sing for sh*t, Nico can't sing for sh*t, how the heck does that album manage to be so great?"

Somehow, the ugliness of all the instruments and vocals sound very good together.
