I'm a master procastinator as well I had a question I need to ask you, is Kayo Dot's Coyote anything like Maudlin of the Well's latest?
Not really - it's much, much more metallic and heavy based. I loved Part The Second on first listen, although I literally had no idea if I was even listening to music when I first heard CotE. It's a really dark, and at the same time, insanely beautiful album. If you like post-metal, go with Choirs Of The Eye.
If you'd like something closer to the symphonic and light jazzy parts from Part The Second, I'd say go with 'Blue Lambency Downward'.
Can't really go wrong with anything from Kayo Dot though, although CotE will take a long time to set in, it probably is the best overall starting point.

So stuff like this:
Or stuff like this:
BBL, shower.
Thanks Joel, I was listening to some samples of Coyote and thought that they sounded pretty avant-garde rock more than post metal and I just wondered (because Part the Second is pretty avant-garde)

:O I did the EXACT same thing. Well, almost, because I woke up at 6 with the most gruesome headache on the planet, took my suicidal dose of painkillers and went back to bed with an unfinished essay.
That sounds pretty sucky.
If only it were sucky. But after that I woke up feeling like I've just been ran over by a train, went to school and then an idiotic photo session.
Dang, there's quite a lot of acid on this Maggots album. Sublime!

So it sucked majorly then. I'm glad I mostly get headaches in the afternoon.

My headaches don't care about timing. b*****ds!
Mine used to like to come around during my last hour of high school. I remember many times I spent the last part of the day trying not to puke my guts out.

Outside is overrated. Just kidding, my mother makes
exercise mandatory for every day, so I'll still spend some time in the
outdoors.
You can always take prog outdoors (especially if it;s folk)

x____x Thought you'd puke out hairballs. I try not to faint when I get them. On a side note, that Gryphon's yummy!
