Robby Steinhardt, the violinist, left Kansas in the mid 1980s and soon Kansas broke up.  When Kansas reformed, they got a new bassist, Billy Greer, and brought Steve Morse on, who played with them for two albums.

Ermm no   (assuming we are talking about Jimi Hendrix' Electric Ladyland, and not some band that I am not familiar with).  BTW, Acoustic Ladyland are a decent band although they are quite annoying on some of their songs.
