Power and the Glory only has one amazing song (guess which I think it is!)
"Proclamation" is pretty damn amazing. But so is "Playing the Game," "Cogs in Cogs," and "The Face." Which one is it?
Playing the Game.
Proclamation is amazing, yes, but I don't really like the studio version. The live version I have is 80 times better, at least. I don't really enjoy the vox on Cogs in Cogs And I've never been as big a fan of GG's violin-based songs

The live version of "Proclamation" is indeed amazing, as are most of the live renditions of their songs. If you don't have the DVD Giant on the Box yet, get it now!

I like how Matt hasn't heard ANY of the most popular/lauded/well-known prog albums, and yet listens to every Avant band the the Zart team doesn't even know of

The ZART probably knows about everything I've heard, most of the stuff I listen to that they probably haven't is electronic type stuff, and MovingPictures definitely knows about those. James is the the lord of avant, he knows everything.
The reason I've not heard a lot of popular prog is because I moved on too quickly to hear it all, it took me about a year to get into RIO/Avant, and then I got into electronic, then jazz. I've been listening to more indie type stuff lately too.

I don't remember seeing you before, but my memory comes and goes. Tonight, I have to go, as I need to wake up stupidly early for work again. So welcome back to you, and goodnight to the Shred!

Thanks for the welcomes back guys! Haha, are Harry, Pat, and James still posting a lot? I keep in touch with Harry on last.fm, but I'm not positive if he still posts here.

Welcome back, Harry never posts in Shred anymore although he does post on PA sometimes. (haven't seen a post by him in a while though) James has been more active of late, not always here though like usual.
