The trailer and the scene I saw just made me angry so I think I will pass. The same for Kids. I hate teenagers, why would I want to see a movie that wallows in their filth...? I already know they're idiots, I've met them!
if you own a sodastream i hate you

They played not far from where I live earlier in the year, unfortunately I wasn't that into them back then, and I missed them. So gutted now.

I got WR about a week before they played in Sydney, although I had no idea they were doing solo shows apart from Soundwave. Although I'm not their biggest fan, I'll definitely get Panopticon or Oceanic within the next week. Really sucks that they've broken up.

I was at the store today, and I was trying to decide between Oceanic and a Pelican's The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw, I chose Pelican because of rarity, but I wish I'd got Oceanic now. I also spent my extra music savings on whisky. Embarrassed

Although, The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw is a good album too.

"Upon our heads he places crowns
sewn with hiss and higher tones
the boy presses whispers into her
and they bathe in valley's pale rain"

Interesting lyrics to end your last album on.

Could be the most disappointing album I bought in 2009. Still really need some more Anathema, though.

JOEL! It should be mediocrity at ITS best! It's is a contraction! I grudgingly accept it on the forums because apparently it's too difficult for people to grasp consistently, or they just don't care, but it shouldn't be in a review! And cliched does not have an apostrophe! And you don't need to f**king sign your review, I already know who wrote it!

And nice, you dragged it down below 4! The references to pop music in the other reviews are really weird to me: I once saw in a review somewhere somebody said a song was really good because it sounded like Diana Krall. Or maybe it was something else, but he then called it progressive so I was confused.

I can assure you that others are better, still poppy in structure but better played, more emotional and generally better. I wouldn't recommend A Natural Disaster though. I've been meaning to change that rating to 3 stars for a while now.

Fixed it Henry.

Also, it no longer appears in the Top Albums of post metal section. SUCCESS!

I mean, if you can stand poppy repetition, whatever, but we are on progarchives, damn it, and "This song reminded me of Coldplay" should always be followed by "so it's really terrible".

But it's not like it matters, there's very little danger of me ever paying money for an Anathema album.

Holy sh*t, I've been sitting at this computer for 7 hours...
