Oops, didn’t see that it was a poll Embarrassed. I would say that, in the right circumstances, mayonnaise can be used as an instrument. The sound of aïoli is better, though (mayonnaise is a bit muffled, aïoli is more crisp).

Another interesting sound is made by adding yoghurt to the aïoli. It’s perfect for shellfish music, but now we talk about a completely different instrument, of course.

I, as a Dutch person, have a special relationship with mayonaise. Mayonaise is indeed an instrument, only sounding good when used together with fries. Heart
