I have some MP3;s I've recorded that I'd like to share with y'all.  How would I do that?   This is all stuff I've recorded, me myself, not some illegal downloda thang.

Just go on a website where you can upload files, like http://www.rapidshare.com for example.

Make sure you put all the mp3s in a zipped folder first for easier downloading.

On that note,  How do you upload files that are not MP3 that you have on a DVD you recorded?

^ I suppose you need a program that can rip the sound off the DVD and convert it to mp3.

You should try illegally downloading your own material just for fun. Tongue
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

In this case, he would have to refuse to give permission to himself for downloading these songs, but in this case, he wouldn't be able to download them, because he'll lack permission. He can't download it without permission because in this case, he wouldn't be able to push download button.

This is Paradox :-)

OK, so it turns out they are not MP3, they are WAV.  Anyone know of a free converter?

I think iTunes can do that, but since I've never used it I don't really know.

Yes, there is an option in the "advanced" menu to creata a version based on your encoding system.itunes defaults to AAC but you can change that in the import settings under preferences.

VLC media player has one of the best WAV to MP3 converters that I have used. It also won't add all those unwanted services that itunes will add to your system.

It's free get it here

In the spirit of giving as well as taking, for those who may follow, provided you have ITunes, there's an option to choose which encoding ya want, MP3 being one choice.  It's all gravy from there.
