Sorry to offend any Cephalic Carnage fans, but I've got to turn that album off... it really sucks... now it's time for some REAL metal...

Cool! I'll be looking forward to getting it. So, where's a good place to get their stuff at a reasonable price?

Good question.  LOL  I got lucky and got the Studio Zund set when it was still around, so I got the studio albums for a good price.  Now, I'm not sure.  They're generally pricey.

^^ hahahaha, it's time for me to tell you the truth:

The CD store where you buy all your albums, I receive 50% of the money.CoolTongue

Seriously, glad to know that, I never expected you to turn into jazz(rock). The Mahavishnu Orchestra are what I would call a 'Heavy Fusion' band, they're extremely complex and pretty heavy for their time as well as a bit eclectic, their first two albums specifically. Return to Forever on the other hand is clearly more jazzy, but Romantic Warrior always striked me as a Prog album played by jazz (rock) musicians.

So that's why you're giving me all these recommendations. LOLTongue

I think that Zappa has really turned me on to some more jazz rock... albums like Roxy & Elsewhere, Over-Nite Sensation, and Hot Rats really got me interested in more jazz stuff like that. Thumbs Up And I've been liking Attahk as well, which sparked my interest even more.

First listen, not as impressed as I had hoped, don't dislike it but it just seems like verse/chorus music with guitar, so nothing has really surprised me or excited me yet.

I really dig this album. Parts of it remind me of Combat Astronomy. :3
