Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I'm listening to the first song I've ever made!

Tell me what you think... (I obviously have never played the keyboard before if you couldn't tell :P)

One of the coolest album artworks ever. Fantastic album, too. Best of 1995!

One of six "Strange..." albums in my collection.

Adrian Belew fans might not be aware he did guitar for this album.

Well, at least it's not more than 36 minutes long. LOL

Northern Song
(CD, 2001)

Primary Artist: Steve Tibbetts

Holy crap, running down the cover art, this one's out of print and going for $65.04 on half.com.

It's a very solid Symphonic Prog album from the new millenium, however it kind-of ruined my "preference" over Transatlantic, both bands are way too similar.

When I listened to All of the Above I thought this was something completely unique and that it wouldn't be repeated or surpassed in some way, however the following Transatlantic albums and Spock's Beard albums proved me wrong. Like I said in my 'The Light' review, Neal Morse uses a great formula but over and over again is not a good thing to do.

I still love 'All of the Above', probably my favorite modern Symphonic epic, but I just wished that it's formula wasn't used previously and after.

Not sure if you understand what I mean.Embarrassed

Agreed. It's definitely not terrible, but I have a few serious problems with the vocalist. When he does his high-pitched shriek, it sounds a bit like a dying bird. Not really my preference in vocal styles. LOL Decent thrash album overall, though.
