Interesting.  Doesn't sound quite like my cup of tea, but it still seems like a very unique show.

Why's that?

Firstly, it has some of the best musicians from here, notably Jean Derome (saxophones, flute), Joane Hétu (saxophones), Danielle Palardy Roger (drums), Nicolas Caiola (double bass), Lori Freedman (saxophone, bass clarinet) and Bernard Falaise (guitars).
Seondly, when the play, it is like a Classical Concert. You hear nothing except the music, in all its subtlety. You can hear the virtuosity, the intelligence.
It was awesome.

I don't know what most of that meant but it sounds great.

They played only five pieces.
Marielle Groven's Hydrophonie
Esther B.'s Trafic
Éric Normand's Numéro d'inventaire
Gordon Allen's Diamond for Rickie Lee Jones
Guido Del Fabbro's Vous êtes ici

I discussed with Joane Hétu and with Marielle Groven.
Groven was charming. Embarrassed

Nice, I'm sure that's fun.  What kind of keys are you playing?

I've been wondering where a few people have disappeared to.

James hasn't posted in weeks, it seems.  What's he been up to?

He's had some ear problems recently, but they've been clearing up and he's been listening to music again lately.  I'm wondering when he'll get back to PA, though.  Rico should be due back soon, and I'm hoping Alex.ro and all the other absent shredders come back again soon too.

The keyboard I have has a pretty big variety sounds, and most of them are very good.  The strings are actually decent on this keyboard, while most other keyboards strings sound cheap and fake.  (Most of the instruments you can play were recorded live, so it sounds authentic.)  Awesome stuff.
