A unique combination of post-punk, new wave, and electronic music. Check out the Collector's Edition of Low-life. That's what I've heard today and it's really awesome. I say the Collector's Edition particularly because those come with 2nd discs that contain longer versions of the tracks (and also other unreleased tracks) and they're just as awesome as the original studio versions.

New Order are alright, but I prefer a bunch of other post-punk/new wave bands.

Understandable. I like other post-punk/new wave bands too, I just really enjoy New Order especially.

I like them, but I feel that they only made good songs, but don't really have a full album full of awesomeness. They're a bit inconsistent.

I've tried Area last week.
Loved the music, not the voice. I couldn't stand the voice.
