Just a thought.

LOL

That reminds me, I asked my German teacher if she's ever listened to any Krautrock...she said no. Cry

I gave my first German teacher Neu!, and my current one Autobahn by Kraftwerk. The first one actually played Hallogallo and Negativland (minus the first 15 seconds... Wink) in class, and I had to explain to this one kid what krautrock was... good times Smile

My German teacher loves pop and rap...no chance of getting any Krautrock played, I think. Ouch

I have only ever had one teacher with good taste, his favorite band was Rush. I never got him to play any in class though.

A unique combination of post-punk, new wave, and electronic music.

Check out the Collector's Edition of Low-life. That's what I've heard today and it's really awesome. I say the Collector's Edition particularly because those come with 2nd discs that contain longer versions of the tracks (and also other unreleased tracks) and they're just as awesome as the original studio versions.

New Order are alright, but I prefer a bunch of other post-punk/new wave bands.

Understandable.

I like other post-punk/new wave bands too, I just really enjoy New Order especially.

I like them, but I feel that they only made good songs, but don't really have a full album full of awesomeness. They're a bit inconsistent.

Well, make sure it goes near the top of the list along with The Knife. Wink

I've tried Area last week.
Loved the music, not the voice. I couldn't stand the voice.
