Well, I've finally decided. I'll say Syd Barrett is the best. I've always loved early Floyd but I think all of the vocalists in the band were great.

I think Syd Barrett has the best voice. The most artistic and solid.

Roger's falsettos are excellent!

I've always enjoyed Syd's vocals the most. His voice worked very well with that psychedelic sound on their first album. Rick is just as good mostly due to the fact that his voice could convey emotion perfectly.

David + Roger together

But if I have to stay with one of them would be David.

Roger Waters. He's not the greatest singer, but his voice has a certain honest, and at times, contemptuous tone to it.

Wright has an emotional feel that makes all of the songs he sings in the greatest on their corresponding albums, such as Echoes, Summer 68', and/or Wearing the Inside Out. They make a kind of hollow, reclusive feel that trademarks said songs.

One of these days I'm going to cut you into little pieces! I voted Gilmour, but hearing Mason say that sends shivers down my spine Cry

Cant really vote. I like Gilmour and Waters in equal measure, and Wright was good at creating the contrasts with his relatively softer voice.

Technically speaking, Waters was not a great singer, but I just cant imagine some of Floyds greatest songs without the tension, and mania that he brought to the music. His contribution to 'Dogs' was one of his finest performances for me. His personality used to come through very powerfully when he sang.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Richard. I've grown tiered of Dave's voice. And Roger's voice is perfect for some songs, like The Final Cut or Vera or A Gunner's Dream, but not quite as good as Rick's. Richard's voice is unique and just slightly bad. And it's good to have a slightly bad voice as a singer. At least I think so. Paintbox is an obvious example. Summer '68 and Time also have great vocals. And Echoes, although both Rick and Dave, it's probably has some of the better vocals in any song.

Syd, closely followed by a Gilmour/Waters combo (Gilmour or Waters on their own doesn't do it for me but put them together and they're superb).

Let's not forget Roy Harper. Although my vote goes to Roger for the bitter edge.

It's been hard to choose between Gilmour and Waters, they both have their unique strong points, but I think Waters has a more unique voice/stile that will make me choose him (though he can also be more annoying). Still love Gilmour's voice, and Rick's too.

I much prefer DG - but am surprised that so many others agree.  I expected Waters to have a stronger showing...
Positively the best Prog and Fusion 24/7!

Waters by a bit. What did Mason sing on?
