I know what you mean. I only have one class tomorrow and then I'm hanging out at Alex's house for most of the day. So that should be fun.

Cool, that sounds like a good time.  What's a typical hang-out session like for you guys?

Well, listening to music is of course obligatory. We also surf the web for various videos to show each other (both funny and otherwise), play some video games and ping pong, and watch some Simpsons. We do other things too, but those are the most common ones probably.

And lately, all my "girl issues". But we'll leave that at "Chicks suck" for now. LOL

I have to stop investing in music for a while because moving to a new home in the city proves to be damn expensive. Maybe in a couple months I'll buy the normal Wavering Radiant vinyl from the shops.

Nothing for a while. I would like to get some Zaar though and I'll be getting the new cynic ep next month. Other than that I have no plans for anything in particular.

Zaar only have one album.

I guess I should listen to some of that now.

It's such a dirty performance of the piece and I love it for that.

I'm going to check that one out once I'm done with Faust IV.  Since I'm already on the topic of Faust, does anyone have their newest album?

That sounds like a great time.....I  used to love those kinds of friendships....still do....I have one friend left who still likes to hang out and listen to tunes.  Most middle aged guys are boring though....all they wanna do is golf or work on the yard.  LOL

Well, we play it too.   But after his wife gives the cut-off signal, then we throw on some tunes at a more sane volume level.  Wink

I've been meaning to go busk acoustic jams with my band, but our bassist needs an upright first

I really need to have more friends who enjoy jamming around.  At home especially, I've got a few here at school.

It's interesting but not so much to my tastes.  Maybe i'll try one of the other, non-Norse-themed albums, but for now back to Neu!

I've been jamming with this old friend since we were teens.  Now in our 40s, we still tear it up.  I'll play my Les, he plays bass or acoustic.  Mostly we improvise or work off of old faves.....Band, the Dead, Neil Young, Wilco.
Almost never prog.
