It isn't as interesting either.... 

True, we could go someplace else to talk about this... But why not do it with people we already know ("know" in the broad sense that applies to internet interactions of course)... 

Once music discussions have all been covered, only real world issues keep people talking. Personally, I have seen all sorts of threads in the music section... But I keep visiting for other issues...

Maybe it's just me of course... My little irrelevant opinion.

My friends, and I do count the PA community as friends, however abstractly...PM me, tell me I'm an ass, let's talk, that's the only reason we even bother to point the browser to this particular site.  As long as there is a General Discussions forum, this stuff will come up, and I will rant or not.  History tells me we all will rant or not.  I avoid the DT threads.  I generally know when to back off.  From the days back in the bars in Wyoming, I knew when to fold, or I'd be that guy tied to a fencepost, left to freeze in the wind.  We care about stuff, whether it's petty or global.  I actually enjoy it.  It's a break from the tedium of A Passion Play LOL 
Can you tell me where we're headin'?
