True.  Though at least with locals you get the album in a reasonable amount of time (or at all Tongue).

What if the locals don't have it?

Then you look to the international sellers.  Tongue  Though as he said the internationals have better prices, so even though there's the chance of losing one due to the postal service's lack of skill I'd probably do like him and order regularly from internationals.

Anyway Joel, how are you liking Caravan so far?

Really enjoying it so far, about a minute into Nine Feet Underground. The lyrics are great too.

The lyrics to Love to Love You are great.

Happy I ended up checking it out, based on this I'll definitely be getting some more Caravan. If there's much other canterbury with this sort of sound/vibe, I'd love to get some of that later on too.

The closest (in my opinion) is Hatfield and the North.  They're more jazzy, but otherwise I'd say they're similar.  Richard Sinclair sings and plays bass for them too.  Heart

Canterbury Scene is all lighthearted and whimsical, with lots of jazz influences.

f**king awesome, I got doom, folk AND avant.

Also, for a price comparison, I can order Devin Townsend's Ki album for 22AUD shipped from the US, or for 35 shipped from a store 4 hours away

I'm on Avant and Prog Metal - I kinda wanted Post Metal though, might try and swap later once there are more collabs

Henry Darger was really f**king creepy. I think it was definitely for the best that he didn't get to adopt anybody.

Also, 2:30 and work and school and piano tommorow and I haven't done anything all week, d'oh.

Somehow, I feel that being on a genre team at MMA wouldn't be worth the effort. And being on the glam team is just embarassing!

I don't know nearly enough about any metal genre to even think about considering the possibility of being on a team over there...I'm hoping to learn from the site more than anything (though I can't say I'm very much looking to get into much metal at the moment, I've got enough on my plate catching up with Prog/Jazz/Classical).

And Joel, that's a crazy price difference.

Hey Joel, Senmuth has been cleared for PA, now for MMA. I'll suggest him for Folk (even though he is not folky) just for you.

He sounds like Egypt music.

I can do that and on occasion even comment on which style of jazz something's supposed to be thanks to my jazz class I took last semester. LOL  A lot of the styles sounded incredibly similar, though, especially the earlier ones.  I'd say that from around bop and later I'd usually be able to say what's what.

I can tell the difference between bop and free-jazz. Approve

Is Senmuth even folk? I've only heard that one album by him.
