Metal Machine Music is only $9, but it used to be $8 and so I'm waiting, even though it probably means I'll lose the 30% markdown on something else I'm buying.

Project is finished!  I had to download a MIDI version of a piece of music of my choice, edit it, and record something on a MIDI keyboard to go along with it...I chose King Crimson's Discipline.  Didn't do much editing on the file itself other than some panning and volume control, then I recorded an epic upright bass part to go along with it.  LOL  MIDI is fun.

Nope, though this one's better executed than some of my previous projects I still like the original version of the song more, and MIDI certainly doesn't do it justice.  Unless you've got a (semi-)professional recording program on your computer, it'll all sound like the same bland keyboard tones except of the drums anyway.

Eventually.  LOL  My problem is that I'm a bit of a perfectionist too, so I haven't started any projects of my own while here at school due to lack of sufficient free time to tweak everything exactly how I want it, and when I'm not here at school I won't have the programs to make the stuff.  It's all a bit inconvenient, I think. Dead

That is more eventful than an entire week of mine.

Didn't you just order that album?  The Australian post really needs to deliver all of your stuff at that speed.

Yeah, on sunday, so it only took one postal day to arrive. It seems like they always get international orders wrong, this one was only about a 16 hour drive away.

Ah, that explains it then.  You should start ordering stuff from local sellers more often, then. LOL

The only decent site with a proper (prog) CD mail order service charges around twice as much for a regular CD to have on posted, and the australian dollar is actually doing well against the Euro and USD, so its hard to resist international stores

True.  Though at least with locals you get the album in a reasonable amount of time (or at all Tongue).

What if the locals don't have it?
