Sounds like my wife and Jane Austen movies/miniseries.

So, what's new with you?

Yum... Jane Austen movie/miniseries Smile lol

Nothing new, really. Started up this music forum in the fall, hoping to see it grow into a strong folk places, didn't work out. I guess it attracted the wrong kind of people for it, and I gave up on the whole thing a few weeks back. I just don't have the kind of patience for some of the idiots those music forums attract. I don't know how the people here do it, with so many members Tongue

There are some people/threads here that make me think "If only I had mod powers...". I'd so like to make some things disappear.

But I think I wouldn't mind so much starting another one at some point, not just now anyway, but there's definitely some mistakes I wouldn't do again, administration-wise. But the desiging part is certainly a lot of fun though (colours, and thread titles, games, etc).

It is kind of a cool project, really.

I find that administrating this stuff takes time away from actually listening to music (when you have a life and all Big smile), which ultimately makes you a not so great music forum admin in the end, so what's the point?

Having a dependable staff should take a lot of the load off, shouldn't it?

Yeah, but I only had 70 members when I closed it, so I didn't need much staff.

edit: wait, not true, some of these members were the same member coming up with different ids just so he could vote more on some dumb*ss artist of the month poll Unhappy

Yup, some people really need to get a life.

Speaking of having a life, I'm off to pretend I have one. To Skype and Mister FirmTush.

Have a great night everyone!

My new goal is to write a 15,000 page book. It doesn't have to be good, it just has to be long.

I don't know, but I'd need to write fifty pages a day in order to finish it within a year, so I think I'll worry about coherence later.
